HI LADIES, GENTLEMEN AND ALL THOSE IN BETWEEN. another long awaited post. I thought I'd best do this in an organized fashion, so that people can actually understand what I am reading.
St John Officer's Course
YES we are nearing the end of the theory course! no more missing church and everything! but of course there are a few drawbacks. for one, I don't get to see my group as often!
Officer Course is going on normally (with the guys in my group, especially wilson, it's not technically normal) without much hindrance. since this is a free speech area, let me ramble on about a few things to clear the air.
Ding Jun SUCKS. seriously. He thinks that just because he is a grade 4 officer, acting all big and almighty in the course, he can get his way around everything and just trample on the trainees. dude, seriously, cut all the crap about trying to improve us and all, and work on the following things.
1) your attitude. it totally sucks.
2) STOP TALKING IN PHRASES ITS SO IRRITATING.
3) cut all your crap
And you know what's the most ironic thing? You are the PERFECT EXAMPLE of what the people at OTC teach us NOT to be.
Saints Rugby
The rugby A div season has already started, and I'm thankful to God for allowing me to have a spot on the team. I honestly thought that I sucked too much, made too many mistakes to make the team, but lo and behold I did. I'm going to try to improve myself, and give the team my fullest effort in trainings. SAJC has already been marching towards the finals, brushing aside CJC 64-0 and MI 44-0. On my birthday, we host Jurong JC at SAJC, and the following saturday, we travel to ACSI for our final group match.
Regarding that last training on friday, I'm sorry and I apologise to the whole team for letting them down during training, especially to farid and jeg. It's damn frustrating to miss balls at times, or blunder when trying to catch, because either i'm too flat at the allignment or i just mistimed my grasp. I was seriously off during training, and on monday, I'll make up for it I promise. Sorry to jeg also, for injuring him during contact training. (ran with the ball, crashed too high, my head knocked into his)
School
School's been so-so, though I face a terrible week. I face tests and assessments and what-nots, and also two exciting rugby matches this week. I'm desperately trying to catch up with schoolwork. WAIT NO, let me rephrase that. I try my best to finish work on time (which I usually do), but I have a hard time trying to cope with lessons, and revision. People were definitely right when they said JC is mainly CCA and studies. Almost everyday, reach home past 8. Trying to finish work, revision and dinner (eh very important okay) before 11.30, which is my usual sleeping time. I'm grateful to God for placing me in a great class where everyone's hardworking yet helping each other with work. Thanks guys! (:
On a side note, Wayne Kerr and his wife Kelley were AWESOME when they visited our church. The worship workshop, the concert, the supper with him, everything was AWESOME and it's a blessing God has given us. (:
