Lord I cry out to you today
I cry out for help and guidance
I cry out as a heavy heart
oppressed and put down by the people around me
discouraged disheartened and pained
Lord, You know of the situation i am in
You know of the non-closeness of friends
you know of the people who talk behind my back
you know of the people who insult me
make fun of me, put me down
see me as a total failure in rugby
and the scary thing is
my heart tells me the same thing
Lord, may you intervene
may You give me hope and a sign
A sign that says that this is not true
something that will hopefully pull me up
Lord, I am really down
I pray that you will help me up
pick me up where I have fallen
encourage me to move on
give me the strength to prove them wrong
give me wisdom to love them despite their actions to me
give me the endurance to prove them wrong
prove them wrong
I can't change the situation around me, that is out of my control. But i can change myself. If I was fated to go down, I will not go down without fighting. I will train myself, be the big guy that I can be, and prove them wrong. Prove that I can do it. and show others that I'm not a total failure.
