Well, now it's chelsea versus liverpool and chelsea are down 1-0 thanks to an alonso shot (no not the F1 driver stupid.) with 12 minutes to half time.
to sum up the week's important events in short, mainly chinese and project work. nothing else rather than that. i'm still out for rugby training, my meniscus is still acting up. the physio says its a ligament damage, and that possibly 3 weeks out.
Had our very first Youth Alive yesterday! it was really good, and the introduction by Shani on what we were going to do for the next few weeks. we touched on the book of Haggai, and it's not really a very common book that many would learn about, but it discusses the 4 crisis of the leadership crisis, and we as youths would be learning about leadership, as we were going to lead our teens, and in future lead our youth. After that, had dinner, fellowship, and bridge (yet to push to 5 no trump though.)
Shaun and I then headed down to SHo's new place at oleander towers for his informal housewarming and reunion of the student leaders. Watched a horror show, literally (it was our literature skit performances in sec1) and talked about people and life and all. Drank some coke with jim beam (though my ratio is really small, loads more coke than jim beam. joshua's one was gastronomical, my ratio but vice versa)
had confirmation service today, and yes it was a good service. (: Glad to see all the candidates delcaring their loyalty to God, and also their commitment and dedication to God and His works. And of course my card! glad you liked it.
after the service a couple of us (kenneth, adeline, jon sng, shaun, yi hao, desmond, kim) headed out to vivocity to just hang out and chill and relax. we just walked around, had some snacks at white dog cafe. I had this uber cool drink called "nuts about you", and adeline said that it was some blend of a milkshake, peanut butter, nuts and i have no idea what else. it was really good! (: recommend you all to try it. (:
i've been rather quiet this week. I kind of like it, because when you keep quiet you eventually get to observe things that you don't normally observe. you get to see people better, in a way best known to me. (: i'm sure you understand. quite the mysterious, amusing person.
